Hands-On Opportunities to Learn & Contribute
The Promised Land Community has partnered with EcoLearn Foundation, a nonprofit environmental education organization, to create hands-on opportunities for residents and the wider community to learn, teach, grow and give back.
Residents who want to participate can receive EcoLearn training, learn new skills, share skills they already have, help with workshops and projects, mentor others, or even lead a program themselves.

Our EcoLearn projects will include gardening, greenhouse growing, beekeeping, composting, a stocked fishing pond and environmental education.
Residents can help grow fresh vegetables and herbs for our community meals, enjoy honey from our own beehives, spend an afternoon fishing, or simply enjoy watching everything grow.
Participation is always a choice. Get your hands in the soil, share something you know, learn something new, or simply enjoy the fruits of what we're creating together.
Make an Impact
Our partnership with EcoLearn also creates opportunities for youth groups, homeschool families, churches, businesses, volunteers and community organizations to participate in workshops, service projects and hands-on learning.
